Hello , Collecting and researching old military photo albums is one of my passions . I enjoy looking at and learning from the original collections of photos and viewing times long since passed . I have something of a butterfly mind being interested in a broad range of photos across both world wars & conflicts ranging from Boer War up to the Vietnam War . I also collect across all services Army , Navy and Airforces . There are more German albums in the collection than from other nations . This is because there are more WW2 German albums available . German soldiers were allowed to carry cameras into combat zones in early war years , photography was very popular / affordable in Germany and they had very good quality compact cameras , this was not generally the case for British soldiers of the period . I do not hold far right political views ..I'm merely interested in the history and viewing the world , in small part " through their eyes". jim
