Album contains many fascinating photos ..we see training at Deal barracks 932 squad . lympstone in Devon ...Commando training unit at Towyn Wales . He is then drafted to 45 Commando in Malta in 1947. Album contains some nice photos of Royal navy ships in Grand harbour , Malta . These include carriers HMS Indefatigable and HMS Triumph ....a few photos of HMS Ajax , a photo of HMT Empress of Australia , heavy submarine k-36 .. There are also few photos relating to service in special boat section ...we see special boat service submarine HMS Solent in grand harbour and 4 photos of an inflatable canoe "FOL-boat " being pulled out of the subs forward hatch .
