The soldier served 14.10.1942 to 27.06.1945.
Album contains original 46 photos ..It seems he served in Russia for some time and later towards wars end is in Germany .
Highlights of this album include a group of photographs of a German soldiers funeral & burial .Toward the end of the album are 8 photographs showing the after effects of allied bombing on the German town of Bottrop in the Ruhr industrial region ..twisted trailtrack , train and its cargo of trucks ...Russian pows are seen clearing the wreckage .
