Here I offer a cd containing high resolution scans produced from an original photo album which belonged to German soldier Josef kaldenback .He was a driver of a half track vehicle which carried a large flak canon / gun . With the album came his original german military drivers licence ,I have also scanned this to the cd .There are many photos of his vehicle , other half tracked vehicles , German tanks on the move , knocked out Russian tanks , Russian wardead , POWS , german graves , crashed bomber , ...all the images refer to his war service . Some taken in the early stages of the war ..Belguim / france ...the bulk are from the Russian front in 1941 .A very good collection of images which give a real flavour this young mans experiences of war . ..........................................
